UV OBSERVATION CHAMBER

In the UV observation chamber, the intensity, colour and distribution of gem luminescence can be observed under short and long UV rays. It can also be used to observe phosphorescence and grade the fluorescence of diamonds.

Observation under UV light brings out further information needed to identify origin and thermal treatment in rubies and sapphire, and to distinguish between synthetic rocks and imitations.
