BERYL

Beryl is a mineral that can take on any colour. Beryl with no colouring element is colourless (goshenite). Green beryls are coloured by iron (green beryl) or chromium and/or vanadium (variety of emerald). Yellow beryls (heliodore) are coloured by iron. Pink (morganite) or red (bixbite) beryl is coloured by manganese.

Each gemstone brought to the laboratory is analysed and identified so that the related report can be drawn up.
